We will be raising funds for The Brigitte Trust, a registered charity that provides emotional and practical support to people living in Surrey who are facing the challenges of terminal illness.

This charity is incredibly dear to me, as both I and one of my fellow walkers, Tim, volunteer with The Brigitte Trust.

The 84 miles in 4 days Hadrian`s Wall trek will be a real challenge but it`s exciting to take on as it will help raise both awareness and funds for an important cause. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to supporting the charity`s work.

We have an intrepid select group joining me and attempting the trek. Survival is considered a bonus. These are the contenders-chosen by fate, poor planning or bad luck:
