WELCOME TO BIRD-A-THON 2023! It's a party y'all and we are raising money for the birds! (WOOOOTTTT!!) Pinyon Jay conservation to be exact (#swooon). GBBO’s proceeds from the 2023 Nevada Bird-a-thon will go towards community science projects and research benefiting some of Nevada’s species in greatest need, such as Pinyon Jays, whose populations have declined over 80% in the past 50 years. ::tear:: This is just one of the bird species of the desert that needs our help!

ABOUT | I’ll be adopting my faaavorite local watering hole, Pittman Wash Trail! (From N. Green Valley Parkway to just past N. Valle Verde Drive). Looking forward to getting some new lifers under my belt including seeing some old feathered favorites and friends. (Ash-throated flycatcher, where you at?!)

CITIZEN SCIENCE (AND I) NEED YOUR HELP!! So while I'll be doing the heavy lifting (err.. birding,) with hopes to see 50+ unique species, I'll leave the (hopefully) easy part to you by helping me hit my goal of $250 raised! (Any amount, large or small is greatly, GREEAAATLY appreciated!!!!!)
