Hello. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hanneke's birthday fell at the end of November and always marked the beginning of a cluster celebrations in the family, with our kids birthdays, Dutch Sinterklaas and even our wedding anniversary occurring in the run up to Christmas.

This year we will mark the occasion by joining the Santa Fun run organised by The Princess Alice Hospice. It’s the type of silly and fun activity that I know would have made Hanneke laugh, and so a nice way to remember her as well as raise donations for the organisation that helped us all so much at the most difficult time.

To create a challenge for myself, I signed up and the next day tore my calf muscle. So I have been working to recover in time - if I don’t then the Santa Fun Run becomes the Fun Hop or Wheelbarrow race for me!

There’s number of us doing the run - please look for Team Name Hanneke’s Herd. The run is at Bushy Park on Sun 30th November. Please search online for exact location/timing details if you are willing to brave the cold and come along and support us.
