Story
A Story of Courage, Love, and Purpose

We are undertaking our charity event in memory of Harlyn, Jen and Richs’ beautiful queen and inspirational daughter.
Harlyn was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive brainstem tumour, in June 24 at only 7 years old.
• DIPG has an average survival rate of only 8–12 months, and research into this devastating childhood cancer remains critically underfunded worldwide.
Harlyn was from beautiful Cornwall and found peace and joy in the ocean, where the water became her greatest source of comfort and therapy.
Sadly, she lost her battle at 9 years old on 30th October 2025. Her fight, resilience and pure love for life and nature was inspirational and she captured our hearts.
On Saturday 13th June, this year, our team of 8 will take on the 14-hour challenge of Mine to Mountain in Snowdonia. Our challenge begins with a 1375 vertical foot descent into the Cwmorthin slate mines, navigating abseils and zip-wire crossings over mine shafts before we climb back into the daylight and push onward to summit Mt Snowdon at 3560ft.
Money raised will go to the:
Childrens hospice South West - Little Harbour Childrens’ Hospice who took amazing care of Harlyn and her family.
