Story
This January, we will be taking part in the 10km Winter Walk for Endo to ensure that everyone with endometriosis gets on the right pathway to care. Endometriosis is a chronic pain condition that affects 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth. Those suffering with this condition are often faced with making challenging and difficult decisions during diagnosis, treatment and management of endometriosis. Endometriosis UK exists to offer support and reliable information as well as fight and campaign for change and better treatment options.
Harri's story: For many years I have suffered from endometriosis and had surgery last year to confirm and diagnose the condition. I am now waiting for another surgery. I understand just how much this condition can impact someone's life, and it's only recently that more people are coming forward to share their story and the impact this has. Endometriosis UK provides a great deal of support for those with this condition and also importantly raising awareness. I'm pleased to get the opportunity to raise some money to support their great work by walking 10km in January with my sister.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, we really appreciate all donations given!
