Story
In May Hayley and Emma will be trekking to the summit of Mount Snowdon (in the dead of night) to raise much needed funds for Harry's Pals.
Harry's Pals is a charity very close to their hearts as it supports the emotional needs of parents, who like them have received a life-changing and heartbreaking diagnosis about their child.
Hayley's son Harry suffered severe brain damage at birth and has profound needs and Emma's little boy called Alfie, has Marshall- Smith Syndrome, a very rare genetic disease that has left him significantly disabled.
Hayley and Emma are on a mission to prevent as many parents as possible from feeling as isolated and unsupported as they did in the early years following their sons diagnosis by raising vital funds for Harry's Pals.
They are both quite daunted about the prospect of climbing Snowdon, especially the 12:45 am start but will be thinking of all the extra parents they are going to be able to help, which will drive them forwards when they are cold, have sore legs, bad backs and are wondering why they ever agreed to this.
Thank you in anticipation of your support!
