Story
Peter was diagnosed with glioblastoma in February 2024 and passed away in August 2025. Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive brain tumours. Treatment has changed little in decades, and it remains a terminal diagnosis. That lack of progress is why research is urgent.
One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
Brain Tumour Research is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Please donate and add your name in Peter’s honour. Together we will fund the fight and move closer to a cure.
