Harvey has inspired so many people without even knowing it. He has faced many challenges in his life and at times been very poorly, but he just gets on with it and soon bounces back to his happy, smiley self. We joked that he coped when Covid better than the rest of his family.

At 18 months Harvey got extremely ill and was in and out of hospital for months. We were worried the degenerative aspect of the disease was taking hold and that we were losing him. But thankfully Harvey was able to join a trial at 2 years old. A trial for a drug that is not a cure fore Niemann-Pick, but aims to slow down the progression of the disease. This is only now available due to extensive research of the condition which is partially funded by Niemann-Pick UK (NPUK). The charity has been an invaluable pillar of support to Harvey's parents over the years and I was extremely honoured when I was given the position as fundraising officer at this incredible charity.

Incredible, crucial, supportive, yet not funded. That's where we all come in. We need to raise the funds to help NPUK continue the crucial work that they do. Thankyou to all our honorary brave little soldiers for helping us on our fundraising mission :)
