**PLEASE NOTE WE ARE FUNDRAISING FOR 3 SEPARATE CHARITIES AND WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THE DONATIONS EVENLY, SO PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT WHEN DONATING**
This charity fundraiser is brought to you by Katie Myott, Jamie Reding, Joel Torkington, Mark Woolley and Hannah Downey (car support and chief organiser).
We are 5 passionate Stockport County fans. After completing a couple of walks now in the last couple of years, Jamie has managed to convince us all that his next walking challenge, is to walk 145 miles from Edgeley Park to Kenilworth Road, in aid of 3 charities close to all our hearts - Stockport County Community Trust, Parkinson’s UK and Wellspring Stockport. The great news for us is that this game is set for Saturday 21st March 2026, who knows what the weather will be like and we are aiming to carry out this challenge over 4 and a half days, leaving Edgeley Park the morning of Tuesday 17th (missing Northampton at home) and arriving all being well at Kenilworth Road at around lunchtime on Saturday 21st.
Over this period we will battle the elements, stopping overnight at various places to mainly eat and sleep whilst hopefully raising lots of money for our chosen charities. We do not underestimate how difficult this challenge is going to be and we are now in training to make sure we do everything possible to support each other as we are determined to complete the challenge and raise as much money as possible for the charities.
Katie and Jamie both work at Stockport County on a match day and Katie also works full time for the community trust. Mark and Joel are just very good at turning up to games, eating, drinking and watching the mighty County push up the leagues.
We will be posting live updates on our social media @hatters2hatters during this 4 and a half day challenge and there may even be some training updates provided in the next 5 months. Please donate and give whatever you can to support these amazing causes and support us through the next few months and during the walk.
