I have been helped firsthand with incredible cancer treatment in Wales. I am grateful for the historical research that has enabled my specialist treatment and the ongoing monitoring I receive. I am so lucky to be part of a large breast cancer research trial in Wales; I have a blood test at Velindre Cancer Centre every three months to check for signs of cancer in my body. This is reassuring for me and will hopefully transform breast cancer monitoring in the future.

It is a privilege to be well and able to run and enjoy the beautiful countryside locally. Doing this with a great bunch of strong, supportive woman has helped see me through difficult times and aided my recovery. Currently, we are completing 6 half marathons (The Super Six) and Valencia will be my third half in this series.
