Team HCS Take on “The Beast” for The Archie Foundation 💛

Team HCS are gearing up to take on The Beast at Banchory – pushing ourselves to the limit to raise funds for the incredible work of The Archie Foundation.

The Archie Foundation is a local charity that makes a real difference to babies, children and their families across the north of Scotland. Working alongside the NHS, they provide vital “extras” that go beyond standard medical care – helping to make hospital stays less frightening and more comfortable for young patients.

From creating child‑friendly hospital environments and funding specialist equipment, to providing play therapy, family support and even free accommodation so parents can stay close to their child during treatment, Archie’s work touches thousands of lives every year.

They also offer practical and emotional support, including bereavement services for families facing the toughest of times, as well as training for healthcare staff and investment in child health services.

Quite simply, The Archie Foundation helps turn overwhelming situations into something a little more manageable – bringing comfort, support and even moments of happiness when they’re needed most.

That’s why we’re taking on this challenge 💪

Every step, climb and muddy mile of “The Beast” is for the children and families who rely on Archie’s support.
