Story

10/5/2020 - UPDATE ( I hope other team members don't mind us updating this page)!

Sadly, Poppy my grandpa passed away yesterday. Although my mum managed to get there for the last few moments of his life, it was the carers that were there for him. They were stroking his hair, holding his hand and keeping him calm during his final hours. These carers are putting their lives at risk for the sake of others. They are not covered head to toe in PPE, maybe because its scary for people like Poppy, I don't know. What I do know is they are truly amazing, and they truly care - this is not just a job for them. Please continue to raise awareness for these people, even if you cant donate, just remember what an amazing job they are doing.

I really want to support these carers especially as many of them do not fall under the NHS banner, so wouldn't be receiving the other support that is available.

Please get involved too and raise money for these unsung heroes. Get out into the sunshine and join our challenge and try to shoot as many goals as you can - whether its a netball, throwing a ball into a bucket, or any other variation. We can get great at netball (for next season) and hopefully raise lots of money for these amazing people!

Thankyou

Tilly

Please join Tilly to 'Shoot what you can - Raise what you can' for the unsung heroes working in the care sector.

Shoot as many hoops (into a netball post, bucket, or whatever) and ask friends and family to sponsor you....let's see how many we can raise in total...

Add photos too.....and your goal!
