Story
Hear Her Voice 2026
Hear Her Voice brings women together through singing while raising vital funds for the Rhian Griffiths Forget Me Not Fund at Velindre Cancer Charity.
The project began in Cardiff in 2025, bringing together women from across South Wales to rehearse and perform as one choir. What started as a new community singing project grew into something far bigger than we could have imagined, with around 100 women taking part in our final concert at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
Together, our singers, their families, friends and supporters helped raise over £28,000 in memory of Rhian Griffiths and in support of the Forget Me Not Fund at Velindre.

This year, we’re going even further.
Hear Her Voice has expanded to two projects, with women coming together in both Cardiff and Gwent. Over nine weeks, our singers will rehearse a shared programme of music before taking to the stage for two special concerts:
Hear Her Voice Gwent
Friday 13th November 2026 at Newport Cathedral
Hear Her Voice Cardiff
Saturday 14th November 2026 at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama
Our fundraising
Every singer taking part has the opportunity to fundraise as part of the Hear Her Voice 2026 team, meaning that all of our individual efforts contribute towards one shared total.
All proceeds raised through the project will be donated to the Rhian Griffiths Forget Me Not Fund at Velindre Cancer Charity, supporting the vital work carried out by Velindre for cancer patients and their families.
After the incredible support we received in 2025, we would love to make an even greater difference in 2026.
Whether you are supporting a friend or family member taking part, coming to one of our concerts, or simply believe in what Hear Her Voice is trying to achieve, every donation makes a difference.
Thank you for supporting Hear Her Voice 2026 and helping us continue Rhian’s legacy.
