This coming January I am planning to undertake a virtual challenge to the location of the world-leading Roslin Institute near Edinburgh, site of the GenOMICC project funded by Sepsis Research FEAT, the UKs only sepsis research charity.

Every year around 50,000 people in the UK die of sepsis. That's roughly one every 12 minutes. It can affect any of us at any time. The ground-breaking GenOMICC project at Roslin is studying emerging infections and is now collecting samples from COVID-19 patients to gain important answers about that infection too.
