This fundraiser was first started by the Elyas family in remembrance of loved ones. Today, it continues in that spirit — by reaching out with compassion to help families in urgent need. You can make a gift in memory of someone special and help continue their legacy.

We are supporting FNKD, a small charity in Uganda that delivers direct, life-changing support to some of the most vulnerable children and families.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, rain water harvesting tanks and a well have already been built, giving 100 families access to clean water. But the need remains great:

• Two young brothers, aged 5 and 8, were abandoned and left in prison for three nights before being rescued by FNKD. It costs just £100 per child to provide them with food, clothing, and care.

• Primmah, a 17-year-old girl, was rescued from her deathbed and now needs a walking frame (£175) to help her regain independence.

Every donation — no matter the amount — makes a real and immediate difference. This is not a large charity. Every pound goes directly towards transforming lives.
