Story

We're Taking on the Inflatable 5K for St Barnabas Lincoln!🏃🏽‍♀️🎈

On January 1st, our wonderful uncle received the devastating news that he has terminal cancer. Recently, he has been cared for at one of the incredible St Barnabas hospices in Lincoln.

The love, dignity, and support he receives there means the world to him – and to our family. The team treats him not just with expert medical care, but with true compassion. He especially loves their therapy dog visits – they always brighten his day!

Our uncle is only 41 and has two young daughters at home, and while this journey is heartbreaking, knowing he’s in a place where he feels safe and comforted gives the family some peace.

That’s why we – a group of cousins who adore him – are doing the Inflatable 5K to raise funds for St Barnabas. It’s just a small way for us to say thank you and help make sure other families receive the same care and kindness when they need it most.

Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference. You will be making a real difference to patients and families across Lincolnshire living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, ensuring St Barnabas can be there for them every day of the year.

By way of example, every £19.98 raised will enable St Barnabas to provide one hour of specialist at-home care to a patient living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

Thank you so much for your support.
