To be diagnosed with breast cancer is shocking enough but to be pregnant and 34 is cruel. That’s what happened in my family. But thanks to incredible medical research, the caring, professional NHS staff and so many breast cancer charities working together a baby girl was born in January. She is healthy and thriving and her mum is getting through the cancer treatment stoically. It’s been a bumpy road but Here’s to Striding Forward.
