Story

This year, I'm going BIG.

My stepdad, Dave Blackman, often told me, "You've got legs, use them."

I didn't consider myself athletic, strong or sporty when I was younger, but this memory has spurred me on and seeing the strength of others has taught me we're as strong as the stories we tell ourselves.

In the last 12 months, I've taken on three of the UK's Three Peak Challenges, and now I'm heading to Africa's Tallest Free-Standing Mountain, Kilimanjaro.

I will hike 5900 metres high, and if I can raise any funds to help give hope to others in doing so, that would be a rather wonderful thing.

There's a lot of hurt in the world right now, and every little bit of love goes a long way.

I've chosen two charities on this occasion, though there is so much more I'd love to support, and this means you can choose.

- Hope For Justice

- Medical Sans Frontier, aka Doctors Without Borders

Both absolute heroes in my eyes, and you can read a little more about them on each page.

I work with Hope for Justice so that story is a little more personal and the others are acting fast to save people’s lives in conflict zones, natural disasters & epidemics.
