Story

20 years ago on the 13th September 2001, Billy Hodkinson died in Belfast city hospital from cancer. In our extended family he never had the joy of meeting his second daughter in law Trudy or Tim’s 3 girls. He never saw the grandchildren he did know grow up or watch their own plans and dreams.

However , he did love singing, his church, getting things done for others and playing and watching sport.

So “here’s to you Billy “ with our #100 km challenge

You’ll see when we share our pictures what activity we have each chosen to reach our personal targets.By 13th September we should have reached our collective 100 km target

We’ll let you know how we get on by posting pictures of our efforts as we go.

Let us know your thoughts & remembrances of this great guy too

If you’d like to donate to the friends of the cancer centre that would be much appreciated. Every penny raised will make a difference to families in Northern Ireland, impacted by cancer.
