Hi I'm Stephanie, Head of Recruitment at hometouch. We are a Live in care Provider specialising in Dementia Care and we are excited to join this years Trek26 to help raise awareness and money for a cause close to our hearts. My personal experience with Dementia was in 2020 during the pandemic, my nan had Dementia and contracted covid-19 in a care home and sadly passed away. I will be walking 13 miles with my team on behalf of hometouch and in memory of my nan Christine who I remember as an incredibly hard-working woman from Ireland. She was reserved, loved her dogs and she worked as a cleaner.

Currently there are more than 55 million people with Dementia worldwide and we would like to show our support. I would like to introduce two members of the team who will be walking with me - Grace Ball who is our amazing Clinical Assessment Lead at hometouch and Bill Kent my husband.
