We're absolutely thrilled to announce that the Honto Shin Karate Academy team of Andy N, Anth, Andy H, Steven, Kevin, Sarmite, Conor, Jasmine and Shauneen have successfully completed the arduous Trek 26 challenge, navigating the incredibly gruelling terrain of the Yorkshire Dales! This wasn't just a walk in the park at all, and it was a monumental test of endurance, spirit, and teamwork, covering 26 challenging miles across some of the most beautiful, yet demanding, landscapes the UK has to offer.

None of us will forget “that hill” as it’s become named 😆- and On the day some of the mile markers certainly felt like they were a lot further apart than others, and according to a lot of people after the event, we all apparently had to do an extra 3 miles to divert around an escaped bull. Some of our Strava showed us topping 30 miles 😮

This trek was about so much more than personal achievement. Our amazing team laced up their boots and pushed themselves to their limits all for a cause incredibly close to our hearts - the Alzheimer's Society. The impact of Alzheimer's disease on individuals and their families is immense, and we are so proud to have contributed to vital research and support services that make a real difference.

A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who supported us! To our incredible team, your perseverance and commitment was admirable and we literally had to dig deep and find every ounce of willpower to get over that line 🏁.

To all our friends, family, and supporters who donated, shared our posts, and cheered us on – your generosity has been overwhelming. Together, we've not only completed an epic challenge but also raised crucial funds that will help the Alzheimer's Society continue their invaluable work in fighting this devastating disease.

So far we have raised a massive £3237, which hopefully goes a long way to help combat this disease.
