Team Hot Flash are two middle aged women walking a marathon up and down the South Downs to raise money for Macmillan. Jos did the half marathon version of this walk last year and Ellen once walked 14 miles. Ellen is focused and organised and Jos is fun and creative. They're hoping this combination is going to see them through many months of training and over the finish line. UPDATE: Sadly Jos has succumbed to every athletes worst fear - injury, and as a result has been unable to train to the level needed to safely complete the hike. She has therefore withdrawn and I am flying the flag for the team. This time there is an I in team.
