Story
A safe home is our foundation, it’s where we thrive. Yet every day, people across the UK and Ireland are facing the challenges of the housing emergency.
A household becomes homeless every 3 minutes in the England. In 2024, over 159,000 children didn’t have a home yet 55% of homeless families are in work. In the Republic of Ireland, 14,000 people currently rely on emergency accommodation. These aren't just numbers – the housing crisis affects the communities we serve daily.
That’s why Veolia is working with Housing Rights in Northern Ireland, to ensure that everyone has the foundation of home. Housing Rights has been helping people in Northern Ireland deal with housing and homelessness problems since 1964.
To do this they provide independent specialist advice, advocacy and support. They are steadfast in their determination to prevent homelessness and help people with housing problems. Through their work, they seek to influence, innovate and improve standards for everyone
Together, we will transform tomorrow for people facing homelessness and unfit housing across the UK.
