Raising money for Mind

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

At Howdens, we like to go the extra mile and the same can be said of the Mindful Miles Club.

Made up of runners, walkers, swimmers, and the odd cyclist or two, our goal is to collectively clock up more than 1,000 active miles throughout the month of February to raise money for Mind - the mental health charity.

By doing so, we hope to encourage others to have positive conversations about mental health, while supporting valuable services that change lives in local communities across the UK.

With more than 20 participants among our mindful athletes, dig deep to support your team player, whether that is a colleague, friend, or family member. Our champions include:

Brian Mckenzie, Carl Hitchon, Carla Bacchio, Claire Morse, Dan Avery, Dan O'Shea, Dave McCabe, Dean Spence, Emma Smith, Harriet Quinn, Julie Cissell, Laura Dickinson, Lee Richards, Lianne Hosegood, Megan O'Callaghan, Michael Hennessy, Spencer Harvey, Stefan Szoltysek, Tom McShane, Tony Welsh, Sarah Edwards, Tom Hopes, Tony Cooper, Zara Mirkovic, and Sara Power.
