Hi!

We're Karen, Sarah, Hilary & Caroline - the Howgate Sunflowers! This year we wanted to challenge ourselves by joining the Kiltwalk 'Mighty Stride' on 17th September - 21 miles through the beautiful streets of Edinburgh City, crossing into East Lothian.

More importantly we are hoping to raise money for Sunflower Scotland. They are a local Edinburgh charity who have gone to Ukraine to deliver essential services. They buy food and other supplies out there to support the Ukrainian local economy and then deliver these supplies and aid to the most vulnerable people in frontline villages across the country, within 0-30km from the frontline. These vulnerable people include women, children, the elderly and disabled. Read more about their work here.
