On 16th May 2026, Lucy Porter and Lucy Parker of H Porter & Sons are taking part in The Mary Steven’s Hospice Snowdon at Sunrise Challenge. They will be setting off in the pitch black of the Snowdonia night at 2am, to (hopefully) conquer the summit as the sun breaks through. It’s a fundraising challenge they’ll never forget and a rare chance to experience one of the UK’s most iconic mountains at its quietest, watching dawn break as they climb with purpose.

By taking part, they’ll be helping the hospice continue to provide specialist palliative end-of-life care and support to patients and families when they need it most. Every step they take and every pound raised will make a real difference, helping the hospice offer comfort, dignity and compassion at the most difficult of times. Mary Stevens Hospice holds such a special place in the hearts of all at H Porter & Sons and within our community and Lucy and Lucy (along with Lucy Porter’s daughter Molly) are very proud to be taking part.
