The Integrated Diagnostic Solutions marketing team at BD are stepping up to help tackle Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), challenged with climbing as many stairs (or equivalent) as possible in January 2023.

Antibiotic resistance is a threat to human health and modern medicine and will affect everyone on the planet. In 2019 more people died of antibiotic-resistant infections than of malaria or aids, and something needs to be done to tackle it. AMR does not discriminate - anyone at any age can be a victim of a resistant infection.

Antibiotic Research UK is the world’s first and only charity dedicated to finding a solution to AMR and supporting patients affected. Donations will go towards academics progressing research in preserving antibiotics and aids the patient support service for those affected by resistant infections.
