Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
This year, the Intelligent Fingerprinting team is running the Cambridge Half Marathon in support of Sarcoma UK, a charity nominated by Terry, our Head of UK Sales, for deeply personal reasons.
Terry’s close friend recently lost his son to rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer most commonly seen in children. On average, there are only around one hundred and twenty two cases each year in the UK. At the time of his diagnosis, only five children in the UK were known to be affected. Tragically, all of those children have since passed away.
Sarcoma cancers are significantly underfunded compared to more common cancer types, despite the devastating impact they have on children and families. By supporting Sarcoma UK, we are helping fund vital research, improve awareness, and support families facing these diagnoses.
We are not running for one individual, but in support of a cause that urgently needs greater visibility, funding, and long-term commitment.
Every donation, no matter the size, is sincerely appreciated. Thank you for supporting our run and helping to make a meaningful difference.
