Patients undergoing rehabilitation in the Bexhill Irvine unit and Rye Memorial hospital are joining forces to cycle 62 miles in October 2025. The aim is to cycle from the unit to France, maybe even further to reach the Eiffel Tower, approximately 386 km / 240 miles.

The team consists of patients who have suffered a stroke, but also a number of other patients, including spinal injuries, fractures and frailty; all working together for a shared goal.
