Story
This September we are running the great north run for Anthony Nolan, a charity that plays a huge role in the work we do and the support that they provide the patients who we care for as Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant nurses.
Anthony Nolan supports and encourages people across the UK to join the Stem Cell register, helping to give Haematology patients the chance of a lifesaving bone marrow transplant for diseases such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Aplastic Anaemia. With research and new developments, we are beginning to be able to offer transplants to patients with autoimmune conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis.
We’ll be running 21.1km to support their work and help give more patients the chance of a life-saving transplant. Thank you so much for your support, no matter how big or small.
