Story
Molly’s has recently had some upsetting news that her year of training for the London marathon would have to come to a stop due to an ongoing issue which is triggered a lot by the distance running. With her wedding just a few weeks after the marathon it was only sensible option to pull out this year. But to make all her hard training worthwhile, we decided to securing a spot Macmillan at the London Hyrox event.
We wanted to raise money for macmillan as one of Jack beloved long term clients has just gone through her traumatic experience and was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer last August which resulted in having a major surgery (therapeutic mammoplasty plus symmetry mammoplasty on the non cancerous side), plus she unfortunately had complications which meant a second surgery almost immediately and a three night hospital stay. Luckily chemo was not needed but 15 daily radiotherapy sessions was also arduous.
In May 2025, Jack and Molly have challenged themselves to take on HYROX to help raise money for people living with cancer.
HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times.
They would be so grateful if you could help them reach their £800 pledge, which could run the Macmillan Support Line phone service for 2 hours.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
