Raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Story

So what started out as an idea to do a Charity walk of some kind, has now ended up as a team 100km 'run' from Eastbourne to Arundel across The South Downs.......what are we thinking?!

The event we're taking part in, is the South Coast Challenge, part of the Ultra Challenge Series. The route starts in Eastbourne, up to Beachy Head, over the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the famous South Downs Way National Trail. At 45k we head down to the Brighton seafront mid-point and along to Hove Park before heading back up to the South Downs Way towards Devil's Dyke. A few ups & downs past Steyning and Findon all lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100km journey.

Our aim is to finish within 18 hours, so we will need to average over 6.5km an hour taking into account rest stops.

Myself, Sam and Jack are all raising money for some amazing Charities that are also close to our hearts, with the target of raising £600 each. So any donation will be hugely appreciated.
