In July 2025, I and friends & family have challenged ourselves to take on the Thames Path Mighty Hike in memory of my mum, Jackie Phillips, and to help raise money for people living with cancer.

My beloved mum, Jackie, ended her journey on Wednesday morning, the 12th March 2025 at the age of 63.

Mum had been ill for a little while and bravely took the decision to stop her cancer treatment and be made comfortable until her inevitable end.

I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day.

This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you. Thank you!
