Story
On Sunday 26th April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon alongside my Brother Ben to raise money for the MS Trust — a charity very close to our family’s heart. We lost our much-loved Nana, who lived with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a huge part of our lives — the kind of person whose presence filled a room, whose laughter lifted spirits, and whose love held us all together.
MS made life harder for her in so many ways. It slowly took away things most of us take for granted — her mobility, her independence, her freedom. But what it never touched was her warmth, her humour, and the incredible spirit that made her so special. Nana always had a smile on her face, no matter what she was going through. She showed us what true strength looks like — not just in how she coped, but in how she continued to love, laugh, and live with grace.
Running the marathon is more than just a personal challenge — it’s my way of honouring her memory, of doing something in her name that gives back and helps others facing the same struggles she did.
The MS Trust does incredible work supporting people with MS and their families — providing information, care, and hope when it’s needed most. By raising money for them, I hope to make a small difference in someone else’s life. To help another family feel a little less alone. To carry forward Nana’s legacy in a way that feels meaningful.
It’s not just about crossing the finish line. It’s about every step along the way — every mile run in her memory, every donation that helps someone else, every moment that reminds us why we're doing this.
