Story
Bex and I will be taking on the Chiltern Hills 50km Ultra-marathon in September to raise money for Samaritans.
Every 90 minutes in the UK, someone dies by suicide. But having someone at the end of the phone to listen without judgement or pressure saves lives. Every 10 seconds, Samaritans across the country respond to a call for help.
Every life lost to suicide is a tragedy, and that is why Samaritans work tirelessly to reach more people and make suicide prevention a priority.
The South-West Herts branch, where many of these compassionate volunteers work (including our amazing Mum), desperately needs greater funding. The money raised will go directly to this branch and go a long way to ensuring it can continue all the vital work it currently undertakes.
