Raising money for The Lullaby Trust

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Our team of Lullaby Heroes are taking on an epic challenge by running the London Marathon!

Story

I am now a proud member of Team Lullaby and will be running the London Marathon 2025 to fundraise for this fantastic charity💛

The Lullaby Trust is an invaluable charity that strives to save the lives of newborn babies and offers support to bereaved families.

As a dedicated midwife, I have spent countless hours supporting families through the joys and challenges of childbirth. Each day, I have had the privilege to witness the profound impact that welcoming a new life has on parents, families, and their communities. However, I am also acutely aware of the heart-wrenching pain of losing their child. A reality that leaves an indelible mark on those affected.

This cause is deeply personal to me, as I have seen firsthand the immense emotional and physical toll baby loss can take. Throughout my career, I have also been privileged to stand by women and families during their darkest moments, offering holistic care, comfort, guidance, and support.

By running the London Marathon, I will be honouring the babies who have left us too soon and the families who carry their memories forever.

I am inspired by the strength and resilience of the women and families I have supported, and I am committed to making a difference. By supporting this cause, we can help ensure that no family has to face the heartbreak of baby loss alone.

By raising money for the Lullaby Trust, I aim to ensure that grieving families are provided with invaluable specialist help and support. Furthermore, the money raised will aid further research into safer baby sleep and sudden infant baby death syndrome.
