We are a sea swimming group of over 50 members who enjoy the benefits all the local beaches have to offer. Some swim nearly every day on the Back or Town Beach, others only when the weather is warmer. We have ventured to swim in the River Dart on Dartmoor the sea pools in Penzance and the north Cornwall Coast and in Majorca. Wherever we are we have fun!

Our safety in the sea is important and we are happy to know we can rely on the RNLI Beach Lifeguards in the summer and the local lifeboat all year round.

The volunteer lifeboat crew at Teignmouth provide a 24-hour search and rescue service 365 days a year, but none of this would be possible without the support of the public and their donations. It costs in the region of £56k a year to run and maintain the service in Teignmouth, all of which comes from the generous donations of the public.
