Team fundraising for The Shakespeare Hospice

Raising money for The Shakespeare Hospice
In memory of Hannah Alexander

The Shakespeare Hospice offers specialised care and support to patients, their loved ones and carers across South Warwickshire and the surrounding areas. Our reach extends beyond the traditional Hospice walls, providing expert support within our local community and patients’ own homes.

Story

Yes, you read that right, I’ll be playing tennis for a full 24 hours (again). No breaks, no shortcuts, just me, a racket, and probably a very sore arm.

But here’s why I’m doing it. The Shakespeare Hospice has been an incredible support to my children after the loss of their mum, offering them a safe place to talk, helping them find the words to match their feelings, and allowing them to meet other children who are similarly bereaved. This challenge is my way of giving back, to help make sure other children get that same kindness and support when they need it most.

Every pound you donate will help the hospice continue its amazing work with bereaved children. And every pound will also keep me motivated when it’s 3am, my serve has gone wobbly, and I’m questioning all my life choices.

Please give what you can, whether it’s the price of a coffee, a pint, or even a new set of tennis balls. Your support will mean the world to me, my kids, and so many other families. Support in person on the day would be so very welcome, and if you fancy picking up a racket, there's space for you on court.

Thank you for your support. Now let’s see if my legs (and sense of humour) last the distance! 🎾
