Story
I was extremely fortunate to secure a place in the 2026 London Marathon through the public ballot, and I’ve decided to use this opportunity to raise money for two charities that mean a great deal to me.
I’m proud to be supporting Willen Hospice and Flint House Police Rehabilitation — two incredible organisations that make a real difference when people need it most.
Willen Hospice provides compassionate, specialist palliative care and emotional support to local people in Milton Keynes facing life-limiting illness, as well as vital support for their families — all free of charge.
Flint House Police Rehabilitation supports serving and retired police officers across the UK, helping them recover from physical and mental health challenges so they can return to duty or improve their quality of life.
Both of these charities have personally supported my friends and family during some incredibly difficult times, which makes this cause especially close to my heart.
I’ve just completed Week 17 of my training programme and I’m looking forward to taking on the marathon on 26 April. Every donation, no matter the size, will help these charities continue their essential, life-changing work. Thank you so much for your support.
