Story
Hello - our names are Johnny and Freddie, we are 13 years of age. We will be participating in a the 5 km Banstead park run on the 5th July 2025 to help raise much needed funds for the charity RSPCA, as part of our school project. We have chosen to raise money for the RSPCA as we both love animals and have dogs of our own. This charity is close to our hearts. Freddie has chosen this charity because his dog Chip is a rescue and before he joined his family, he was living at a travellers site where he was going to be put down. Johnny has chosen this charity as it is unfair that us, as people have destroyed some animals habitats so the least we can do is help them to survive and find a place to live. The RSPCA uses the money to help rescue animals, including cats and dogs. With every £1 pound raise - 81p going towards the rescue and care, 18p goes towards fundraising and marketing, 1p goes towards governance and support. They have helped over 28,000 animals to find loving new homes and have taken 31,200 dogs and cats into their care. Your money will help provide vital on-going care animals need to recover. Please sponsor us as every pound counts and goes a long way. Thank you, Johnny and Freddie.
The RSPCA mission is to ensure animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, by advocating on behalf of all animals and by inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect.
