I am taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon in April 2024 for two charities - Asthma and Lung UK, and the Blue Cross which is a pets’ charity. I would really love for both charities to equally receive donations - but am very grateful for any! 7 weeks to go I'm up to 35 miles a week and 17 on the long run, it's been hard but I'm getting there slowly! Today I ran from St Aidan's to Fairburn Ings and back. Lovely off road to get there not so nice running on the road back.

Only 2 weeks to go now, I have my number 27274 if anyone wants to track me, I don't start until 11.30, I'm expecting to take 6 hrs 15 minutes to finish. Looking forward to it. My charities Asthma and Lung UK have 550 runners and Blue Cross 31, we have now reached the target but anymore donations are welcome. Thankyou everyone for your support.

We did it!! What an amazing experience but also hard mentally and physically but it's not supposed to be easy! Fantastic support all the way round from the crowd It was made even more special to be joined by my daughter Vic, although she had planned to run it, but not with me. Thanks to Liz , Brett and Ed for looking after the farm and ponies so I could do it. The sponsorship has been greater than I thought it would be but now I'm thinking it would be good to get to £2000.
