Story

Hello

As financial journalists, we know too well that money can really affect the mind - particularly now with the cost of living crisis, where money worries are higher than ever before.

Just talking about money can lead to anxiety and sleepless nights for many. Those who have experienced a mental health problem in the past three years are at risk of falling into serious debt, more likely to be behind on priority bills, and more likely to be borrowing to pay off debt, or to buy food.

We are currently living in challenging times - and money is often at the centre of mental health problems, and sadly it can lead to serious consequences. But thanks to mental charities like Sane, everyone can have someone to talk to - and that chat with someone could save a life.

So, we wanted to support Sane and are raising money for something that is close to us all in one way or another. With your help, we hope this makes a difference.

Thank you, Kalpana, Ruth, Georgie, Harriet and Becky
