Ideagen Fundraising
Grad Skydiving Team!
3 of the Graduates at Ideagen are fundraising on behalf of Rainbows Hospice to raise funds that will be donated directly to the charity. Here's an insight into their personal motivation for wanting to get involved with fundraising.
Ella
I'm thrilled to take on the exhilarating challenge of a skydive for Rainbows Charity! Having completed a marathon for children with cancer in 2023, I am passionate about pushing my limits to support children and families in need at Rainbows. By taking this leap, I aim to inspire others to contribute to this vital cause, ensuring that every child is given a reason to smile even throughout their toughest days. This skydive represents not just a personal and slightly bonkers challenge, but a powerful way to raise awareness and funds for the incredible work Rainbows does for children and their families.
Sofia
I've always wanted to skydive but needed that extra push. When I learned about Rainbows charity, I knew it was the perfect opportunity. Rainbows gives families with terminally ill children precious extra time to make memories together. Supporting them means helping create special moments and memories, which is a cause truly worth backing for me.
Tim
I've always been a thrill seeker and more than willing to get amongst new challenges that push me so when the opportunity came up to do a skydive for the first time I jumped at the chance! When my daughter was born she was very ill with sepsis and the hospital worked alongside a charity to provide on-site accommodation for parents with very sick children. Without this assistance we wouldn't have been able to be close by through the days and nights so I understand the value of the help charities like Rainbows provide. I'm very happy to be fundraising for such a good cause in Rainbows!
Rainbows Hospice
Sadly, some children just don't live long enough.
As the East Midlands only hospice for children and young people, Rainbows is a place where life-limited children and their families can find care and support. Our incredible team of people help relieve symptoms, improve quality of life, support parents and siblings through their bereavements and care for children until the end.
Please take a look at our website www.rainbows.co.uk to see more about how your support helps families through the toughest times and you will be helping make precious memories.
Rainbows is a place where children can laugh, play and make every precious moment count, while families already bereaved are supported through the toughest times. Because of you and other supporters like you, a family will be able to make special memories they will cherish forever and bring a smile to their child's face as they laugh and play.
Please help the team brighten short lives - thank you
