We are raising awareness for the Windrush scandal. A period in Britain history where thousands of people who arrived from Commonwealth countries between 1948 and 1971 were wongly denied their legal rights. Many of these individuals helped build the UK's essential services like the NHS, yet decades later, they faced job losses, denial of healthcare, and even unlawful detentions. It is estimated that 15,000-16,000 British citizens were misclassified as illegal immigrants due to 'Hostile Environment' policies and at least 53 people have died while waiting for their compensation claims to be processed.

Justice4Windrush provides free legal aid and advocacy beacause victims currently have no access to government funded legal help to navigate the complex compensation scheme.
