Story
We go again… 🌻🌻🌻
Some friends and I are taking part in the Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk again this year in memory of a number of lovely people!
Sophie’s Dad, Martin who sadly passed away last year at Thames Hospice.
Paula’s Grandad, Thomas Pittaway and Rachael’s grandparents, Shelia Smith and Lillian Walker who were cared for at the original Thames Hospice.
Tracey’s best friend’s sister, Sharon Duncan who also sadly passed away at Thames Hospice.
Jess D’s Nan, Jennifer Granger who was cared for at the hospice and her Gramps, Robert Nugent who had carers look after him comfortably at home.
Thames Hospice is such an amazing charity that relies on charitable donations and fundraising to cover the costs of their services!
Whilst this walk may be a challenge for us, I know firsthand what a difference the money will make to those patients and families who are facing the most difficult of challenges 💚
💚 £12 could pay for a patient’s medication for a day
💚 £25 could pay for an assisted bath helping a patient to relax
💚 £57 could pay for a bereavement call to support a family member
Every penny raised from the Sunflower walk will ensure that Thames Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to those who need it now and in the future🌻
