Story
For Papa H & Theo ❤️
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
As some of you know, I was meant to take on this massive challenge last year but I had a nasty running accident which ended up with a fracture that ended up taking a looong time to get sorted so it was time to defer. I had a procedure under general anesthetic a few months ago and have been trying my best with my training since! It has been a bumpy road with more injuries but I managed to do my longest run of 20 miles a few weekends ago now which I'm so so proud of and I now have the self belief I can do this!
I am completing The London Marathon in support of 2 charities close to my heart; Motor Neurone Disease Association in memory of my father in law, Papa H and Children with Cancer UK to support my close friend whose little boy, Theo has been such a trooper going through treatment for leukaemia.
I hate asking for money and help but I'd like to ask those who can if they will help me support these charities that helps so many who suffer with these illnesses.
It would be amazing if there was one day a cure for MND and if treatment could be made kinder for treating children with cancer.
If you are able to support me taking on The London Marathon, you are able to choose which charity you would like to support or donate to both charities.
Thank you for any support given and making the miles count for something ❤️
