In 2021 my son cycled Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG), a significant achievement, particularly as at the time he was suffering mental health issues. Just after he crossed the finish line, a lone hiker strolled in to John O'Groats. He had walked from Land's End. I thought "I could do that"!

Now four years later, its my turn for a LEJOG adventure, walking for three months. I would like to raise funds for two charities:

1. Young Minds - a charity which provides support and promotes the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people (the same charity that my son raised funds for).

2. Alzheimer's Research UK - a charity working to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease which impacts so many people as they progress in years. And one I may need after 90 days of solo walking!
