Story
As part of this years Bikeathon we are fundraising for two extremely worthwhile charities that mean a huge amount to the heart of our whole community.
As a supporter, you can decide whether you would like to make a donation to both or to one of the charities.
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a charity that aims to help reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
At Mikeysline, our ultimate aim is suicide prevention and supporting those that struggle with mental health issues. Kingussie High School pupils, staff and families have been supported by Mikeysline over the years and especially in more recent times. Our decision to support this charity means a lot to our whole community.
Our aim for this year is to raise awareness of both of these charities and raise funds that can support them, and those affected by either, now and in the future.
We hope to see you at the Bikeathon on Sunday the 16th June and the Bikeathon Family Ceilidh at the Duke of Gordon in Kingussie on Saturday 15th June.
