Raising money for Finding Your Feet

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 · 28 April 2024 ·

We provide a wide range of support to individuals who have been affected by amputation or limb difference, through sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects.

Story

We are funding raising for Amputees across Scotland by taking on the Glasgow Kiltwalk!

Finding Your Feet provides support to amputees across the country by providing fitness classes, friendship opportunities and mental health support.

For amputees, quality of life and even life expectancy is greatly reduced without social inclusion. As many as 30% of vascular amputees don't survive to one-year post amputation. FYF is key in addressing this issue. They are directly saving lives.

So on the 28th of April we will be taking on the Glasgow Kiltwalk to help Finding Your Feet continue to do what they do best. We would love it if you could help us meet our target and support the team by donating anything you can - every pound makes a big difference.

By donating you will play a key part in delivering vital physical fitness and emotional wellbeing activities for those who have lost limbs. From swimming lessons for kids, counselling for someone who's lost their way, to peaceful gardening for grandparents. FYF do it all. Whether an amputee needs the encouragement to climb a mountain or just to climb out of bed in the morning...they are there.

Thank you in advance.
