The National Literacy Trust empower children, young people, and families with the literacy skills they need to succeed in life. Research shows that a child's earliest years are crucial to their development and life chances. That’s why the charity works to ensure that every child starts school with the language and communication skills they need to grow, learn and thrive.

At The Very Group, we’ve set ourselves an ambitious target to support 4,000 young children growing up in Liverpool and the East Midlands, through raising £450,000.

This partnership with the National Literacy Trust will fund a community programme in Liverpool, reaching the young children and families living in the areas of greatest need, as well as support existing activity in the East Midlands.

Together we will change life stories.
